Banana Charcoal Smoothie

I am quite obsessed with the colous black and it definitely does translate in my cooking as well. I do not, anyhow use artificial colouring as I endeavour to keep my food fresh and healthy. I have used activated charcoal for this recipe. Activated charcoal is said to absorb toxins, aids kidney functions and helps in gastric issues. The smoothie is a plain banana and milk smoothie. You can substitute the milk with any vegan option of your liking. I have served it with a home made trail mix and blueberries.

Ingredients:

Banana: 1

Milk: 1/4 cup

Activated Charcoal powder: 800mg

To garnish:

Homemade Trail Mix: 1/4 cup

Blueberries: Handful

Blend the smoothie ingredints until smooth. Pour in a bowl and top with the trail mix (you can use a pre made trail mix) and a few blueberries. Serve chilled and fresh.
